Minimalist Barge Houseboat Design Idea with Longitudinal Windows

The barge on the Seine has lived a charm, able to evoke the Atalante Vigo or Impressionist paintings by Renoir. No exception on the last Minimalist Barge Houseboat Design project by the Bouroullec brothers, Ronan and Erwan, and for the Cneai (Centre National de l’Art et de l’Estampe Impress) created a barge destination to become abnormal and fluctuating resident artist.
The spaces inside barge houseboat deliberately minimalist and are arranged longitudinally around two large windows overlooking the water. Smaller spaces and night service, to allow greater freedom of movement to the right to future guest artists. The barge houseboat structure built of wood, aluminum is coated to ensure proper insulation.
The houseboat design idea is currently anchored at a small island, known as the Island of the Impressionists, near Chatou, near Paris.
